Written By Abu Yervant on Sabtu, 04 Juni 2011 | 02.00

116220689_438039ddb3 The secret to fulfill ANY one’s dream and desire one wants in life is ‘Set Goals’! That’s where it all started. Knowing where you want to go is half of the journey.

Each and every successful people, use 'Goals' to attain the knowledge and wealth they have today. They have purpose in life. You might agree or you might not with that statement, I leave that entirely up to you.

You probably wonder; “I have set goals, then why I haven’t reach the level of success that I desire”. The reason people find it too hard to achieve their goals is simple because they've set their long-term goals before setting short-term ones, or they just didn't plan their goals out carefully.

It is very important to apply just the right strategies in setting our goals, especially if we want to achieve our long-terms goals.

The following are 5 goal setting techniques we can immediately apply to help us realize our true goals. But, in order to really taste the juice of this tips is we have to keep our mind open. So, with that said, lets get started!

1) Set Our Short-term Goals First

It is more often done automatically. Most of the time we unconsciously set our short-term goals.

We may have considered the goals to be long-term at the time we planned them; and soon after achieving those goals, we realize that we actually looking forward to a longer one.

Some of us are contented with their short-term goals, but after a while will realize that we also need to attain long-term ones.

Short-term goals are our starting point for the long-term ones. They could motivate us to plan for longer goals, which will usually take some time before achieving them in full.

2) Do You Really Want It?

Ask yourself: "Do I really want this? Will this goal give me a better life?"

This is important, because by answering such question we can tell if our current goals is for real or just a ‘fake’ goals. If you really want your goals, they will give you more passion and motivation to achieve your goal.

Some people often have to recall their past to find out Why and How they came up with such goal.

3) Share

Don’t keep our goals to ourselves only. By sharing your goals with other people, especially our loved ones, it'll help us getting the support we may need in order to fulfill them.

Some people are just too shy to tell others about their dreams for reasons like they are afraid they cannot achieve them in the end, or they lack the courage to speak their minds. This is one habit that you have to change. Because when the time comes that you really need their support, you will have a difficult time getting it.

You'll then be left to achieve your goals all on your own, which is only making it harder.

Don't make this mistake!

4) Write Them Down

It is a very simple technique, and that is probably why it is often neglected. This strategy is critical and more advisable for those who have a long list of goals.

After writing them down in as much detail, it is advisable that you review them on a daily to weekly basis because this will encourage and motivate you to achieving them, plus, this will also keep that vision of your goal alive.

5) Never Give Up!

Don’t ever lose track. Stay on course! While on track, you may have to face challenges that might change your personality. Reviewing notes will help open your mind to see if you are on the right track.

A person who is overconfident might all of a sudden feel depressed after coming to know that he is going the wrong direction in achieving his goals. Thus this might lead to abandoning the goal. Never be discouraged. Facing obstacles is a test on how passionate you are to realizing your goals.

There you have it.

Give those a try and keep a visual picture in your mind everyday of you fulfilling that goal you desire so much.

8 Crucial Elements for Your Business Web Sites

Written By Abu Yervant on Kamis, 02 Juni 2011 | 21.26

code-small If you are running a business and utilize website (and internet in general) as one of your tools, these articles is a must read. And if your business rely solely on internet, it is very critical that you should apply these tips to check your websites.

Key visitors to your commercial pages is not only human customers, they include web robots that crawl the internet and catalog your content.

The right combination of text and graphic presentation, is just one secret to successfully attract human visitors. But don’t neglect properly written code which may mean higher robot ratings. If bots love your website, your website will be quickly index by search engine, and they will display just the right search result information to tease searchers to click on your links.

Once a new prospect finds your web site, wherever they are coming from, you have 5 seconds to get them to stay.

Did you know web pages can load and appear correct with improper or deprecated HTML code? A browser may ignore your mistakes, and display what it thinks you meant, and it may look great. But web robots may not be as forgiving.

Below is a list of 8 basic but crucial elements for good search engine placement that need to be considered in your design and web site promotion. For details on code issues from the worldwide authority, visit the World Wide Web Consortium to view DOCTYPE and other quality standards.

1. DOCTYPE Statement
2. Page Title
3. Proper HTML Code
4. META Description
5. META Key Words
6. First Paragraph of the Home Page
7. An Extra Page of Just LINKS
8. Backlinks (Links to your pages)

85% of all web sites are missing or poorly coded these 8 key elements. In other words, as few as 15% of the 6 billion web pages online ever make it into some search engines. Even worse, there are mistakes that may result in your page being sandboxed, and the search engine web crawlers may never come back to see if it's corrected. This could explain why you "never get any hits".

Websites can be simple and professional without using fancy software to create your pages. Veteran programmers hand code and many create the HTML in NotePad. I have nothing against the use of flash, frame, but the user of the latest software may be losing a significant portion of new visitors (customers) because the visitor may lack the technology or newest version of browsers, and not to mention potential buyer with poor internet connection. It could mean lost profits.

Note: Search engine algorithms are evolve and vary by company, so some elements such as "an extra page of links" may not be as important today with some search robots.  Backlinks refer to marketing your site and getting other web sites to link to yours.

Finally, your potential customers and business partners want information. They do not visit your website to be entertained. Most have a need (problem) and want a fast answer (solution), so designs should be created to minimize the use of music or video unless that's your core business.  Anything that distracts from a positive first impression may violate the "5 Second Rule".
